Every door and trim piece is spray-finished and sanded multiple times throughout the process, ensuring a smooth, glass-like appearance free of brush strokes, roller marks, or flaws. Step 1: The most important step is always in the prep. Once all surfaces have been properly cleaned and dried, we will cover all “non-painted” surfaces (Windows, siding, ground, etc) with appropriate covering materials.
Step 2: Door hardware is removed, bagged, and labeled to be reinstalled upon completion.
Step 3: larger imperfections are filled with a 2-part epoxy putty to prevent shrinking and further damage. These areas and smaller imperfections are later skimmed with 3M Bondo Glazing Putty (Automotive Filler) to achieve an invisible/smooth repair location.
Step 4: surfaces are then sanded smooth to the appropriate grit and cleaned thoroughly.
Step 5: Necessary surfaces are primed and inspected again for further imperfection. At this time those will be addressed, spot primed, and sanded smooth.
Step 6: Spray finished with 2 coats of customer choice color sanding lightly between coats if needed to achieve a stellar finish.

Days prior to beginning work, With the use of a soft wash tip (ensuring not to etch or damage surface) and environmentally friendly bleaching and wood brightening agents, our team will meticulously wash all surfaces being serviced.
After adequate time to dry, wood surfaces are moisture tested to ensuring it has dried enough to begin the painting/staining process. (Under 14% Moisture)
At this time sanding and necessary scraping is preformed to revitalize the older rough surfaces or smooth and enhance new wood.
Surfaces again are cleaned thoroughly, and surrounding areas of the home are masked off with plastic to protect from cast offs and drips.
Two coats of Stain are then brushed into the wood ensuring even coverage and color over all surfaces paying close attention to not miss any small grooves or cracks throughout the project.
Work zone is then thoroughly cleaned and Say Cheese! It’s Picture Time!
